the LHVH Studio story

LHVH Studio, owned by Linda Haldorson Van Hare, is best known for contemporary fused glass work that emphasizes functional beauty for home and architectural use. I am inspired to deliver pieces that move glass from ornamental to everyday. For over 20 years, I have created glass works- beautifying mantles, dining tables, kitchen backsplashes, architectural lights and institutional spaces. I am a Northwest artist, with Colorado roots and all my work is created in my Seattle area home studio.

My designs are rooted in a longstanding love for the western landscapes I have always called home, complete with deep saturated color layers, an abundance of texture and the juxtaposition of old, new and repurposed. As part of the artistic process, my work often includes inspirations in paper, fabric, metal and found objects. The full offerings of my work are currently featured in my Gallery.
